Wit & Chai Internship /

Graphic Design Intern &
Unofficial Office DJ

My internship with Wit and Chai was equal parts fast-paced and fulfilling—a crash course in the real-world pulse of design. From working on established names like Ranka Jewellers, Godrej Jersey, and Inorbit Mall to handling quirky internal posts and topical content, I learned how to balance strategy, speed, and storytelling across multiple brands and platforms. Whether it was crafting a festive reel overnight or building a campaign from scratch in under two weeks, this internship taught me that design is never just about how it looks—

it’s about how well it moves, speaks, and solves.

It wasn’t just a design internship. It was a lesson in adaptability, communication, and what it means to keep the creative tap running—even when the brief says "urgent."

  • Small Studio, Big Hats / In a tight-knit team, I found myself moving between strategy, copy, design, and moodboarding—sometimes all before lunch. It pushed me to be resourceful, fast on my feet, and to think across rather than up. Wearing many hats taught me what fits best—and what I want to grow into.

  • Design Is a Verb, Not Just a Visual / From reels turned around overnight to brand campaigns built from scratch in days—this internship redefined design for me. It’s not just how it looks; it’s how it moves, speaks, and solves. Good design here didn’t just sit pretty—it had a job to do, and a deadline to meet.

  • Detach to Deliver / Reality Check! - One of the hardest but most important lessons? Don’t get too attached to an idea. In the real world, timelines, feedback, and client needs often rewrite the script. I learned to stay flexible, let go when needed, and focus on what works—not just what I personally liked.
