Branding Potters Hill -
Nature Park, Shimla /
In collaboration with Himachal Pradesh Forest Department
Thesis Project 2025
For my thesis, I worked with three wonderful teammates (Adithi N, Fizza Mullamitha & Hemanti Niranjan) on rebranding Potter’s Hill, a serene nature park nestled in Shimla with immense potential for eco-tourism and conservation. Often lost in the shadows of the city’s tourist hotspots, this hidden forest needed a fresh identity that honored its essence.

Our approach combined compelling visual identity, illustrations, and communication design with a strong narrative that honored the ecological and cultural essence of the place. From signage systems and merchandise to marketing communication (Marcomm) and digital outreach, every touchpoint was designed to inspire responsible tourism. This wasn’t just about design—it was about creating a cohesive, memorable experience rooted in empathy, awareness, and environmental stewardship.

The art of standing out while fitting in / Creating for a broad audience meant ensuring clarity and relatability, but the challenge was weaving in my own unique perspective. Striking that balance meant embracing clarity without losing the charm of personal expression.
