Khamma Ghani / खम्मा घणी
An Illustrated Accordion Travelogue
Inspired by the Coke Studio track - 'Chaudhary' that quietly played in the background of our trip, 'Khamma Ghani' is an illustrated accordion book that traces the edges of a journey I didn’t want to end. Made after a week in Rajasthan with my closest college friends, it folds memories into panels—beautiful forts, quiet train rides, food-coma giggles, and everything in between. The style draws from Indian folk art—earthy, imperfect, full of heart—just like the people and places we met.
The phrase 'Khamma Ghani' followed us everywhere in Rajasthan—kind, familiar, and full of charm. So this one’s for the kind of stories that don’t need a plot—just people, place, and the feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be.

Say Yes to Everything, Especially with Friends / Traveling with college friends proved that the best memories are made when you’re surrounded by the people you love. You’ll end up with a lifetime of inside jokes, spontaneous adventures, and memories that you’ll laugh about for years.

Absorb Like a Sponge / Travel is a constant lesson in being present. I realized that every conversation, every landscape, every small moment you absorb might become a key part of your creative process later. The more you open your eyes to the world around you, the more you'll find inspiration hiding in plain sight.

Capturing the Spirit of a Place / Through this project, I learned that it’s not just about documenting the sights or facts—it’s about capturing the essence of a place. It’s about how it feels to be there: the energy of the people, the colors, the textures. Translating that feeling into a visual form was a challenge, but it’s what brought this book to life.
